Consumer Financial Education (CFE)
The CFE pillar focuses on personal finance management and has developed financial literacy programmes that cover topics such as; financial psychology, economic perspective, financial health check, budgeting, financial planning, retirements, savings, investments, debt management and estate planning.

SMME & Cooperatives Support
Cooperative and SMME development support we provide support to SMMEs and co-operatives and handhold them to grow and become sustainable businesses. Our support programs include:
-Procurement and Investment Readiness (PRIP)
-Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy -Dialogue

Youth Acceleration Programmes
Youth programmes pillar includes recruiting unemployed youth and placing them with SMMEs across all sectors who require capacity as identified by NFLA to improve operations. Youth is placed for 12 months and thereafter are either absorbed by the Host Company (SMME) or are redirected by NFLA towards entrepreneurship. They are further assisted to attract funding

Research & Development
Research and Development division provides a think tank for NFLA to constantly improve its intervention to respond to the industry needs. We are also working with other research institutes and institutions of higher learning to collaborate on research on financial inclusion, SMME and Cooperatives. Our database is also featured in determining the small business index and other SMME related research.
